What’s On in Killarney

Samhradh Series – Legends & Libations
This summer, Pig’s Lane invites you to immerse yourself in the rich folklore and legends of Kerry with ‘Legends & Libations’. A unique cocktail experience where storytelling and mixology come together, inspired by the region’s myths.
On exclusive dates, during June, July and August, Pig’s Lane’s hidden Whiskey Parlour will come alive with ancient stories, local lore, and captivating storytelling as one of Ireland’s leading seanchaithe, Ray O’Sullivan, guides guests through an unforgettable evening. As Ray’s tales unfold, echoes of Killarney’s legendary past will rise once more. Hear stories of restless spirits, otherworldly encounters, and the powerful figures said to roam Killarney’s mist-covered lakes and ancient woodlands.
The evening promises a fully immersive experience, featuring three of Pig’s Lane’s signature cocktails.

PIG’S LANE X SOLAS
For one night only on Friday, 11th September, Pig’s Lane will open its doors for guests to experience a specially curated selection of Solas Michelin Bib Gourmand awarded dishes, each paired with a precision-crafted, bespoke cocktail from the Pig’s Lane mixology team, where bold tapas and world-class cocktails take centre stage.
Among the evening’s culinary highlights will be Annascaul belly of pork with carrot ketchup, peanut & sesame, followed by an indulgent white chocolate, cardamom, Dingle sea salt & hazelnut dessert, paired with Pig’s Lane’s famous cold-brew-based Black Shtuff to finish.
Led by husband-and-wife duo Nicky and Ann Foley, Solas has become a foodie destination in Dingle, celebrated for its deep commitment to local and seasonal sourcing, while Pig’s Lane is blazing a trail on Ireland’s cocktail scene as one of the first bars in the country to receive a coveted ‘1 PIN’ from The Pinnacle Guide, often described as the Michelin Guide for bars.
